Timothy Bosque: Awards and Accolades

Timothy Bosque had a highly successful career as a mathematics teacher at five schools on the West and East coasts. Timothy didn’t teach for accolades; he did it for the students. Yet his hard work and commitment to the craft led to him receiving a few prestigious awards and recognition in his industry:

  • San Rafael Chamber of Commerce “Excellence in Educational Service” award. 2004. Timothy won this award for his outstanding dedication to student success while working at Terra Linda High School. The Chamber of Commerce gives this award to seven exceptional professionals each year.

  • Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award. One teacher per year receives this accolade from the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce. Timothy Bosque was proud to be the recipient, after another year of going the extra mile to ensure student success.
  • Terra Linda Rotary Club Teacher Recognition Special Award. Timothy was part of the rotary club during his years at Terra Linda High School. He received the special Teacher Recognition Award one year for his unique contributions to the school and students.
  • Terra Linda High School “You Make a Difference” Award. 1999, 2005, 2019. Timothy earned this accolade three separate years. It’s awarded to teachers who make a real difference to the students and the community.

Taking after his father, who was a teacher and school administrator for 30 years, Timothy Bosque proudly served the Marin County school district for 31 years. He also taught at New Heights Academy in New York City, where he earned the New Heights Academy School “PRIDE” award in 2014 and 2015.
